SCENE: EMPTY ROAD

Amelia: (voiceover) My sweet Cassie. I didn't want you to have this life. But destiny's not easy to run from.

A long winding street. The road is empty when a car flies by. Behind the wheel is Cassie Blake, having a private moment with the stereo. She's startled by a honking horn. Headlights blind as a car whizzes by, passing her. She road rages.

Cassie: C'mon. Really?

But then -- her front wheel explodes. A blowout. The car jerks and skids, careening off the road. Cassie responds instantly. She let's off the gas, turns into the skid, the car jerks and grinds to a stop. Cassie gets out, looks to her front tyre. It's flat. Cassie looks around. She sees a car idling half a block up the road. The same one that passed her. It just sits there, as if watching. She can't make out who's behind the wheel. She calls out.

Cassie: Hey . . . Hey . . . Hey . . . Can I get a . . .?

The car quickly speeds away.

SCENE: AMELIA AND CASSIE'S HOUSE

Amelia Blake is in the kitchen preparing food. The phone rings and she answers it.

Amelia: Hello?

Scene intercuts Cassie rolling a spare from the trunk and changing the tyre

Cassie: I got a flat.

Amelia: Where are you?

Cassie: Close. I'm on Oak.

Amelia: Are you okay? Did you call AAA?

Cassie: I know how to change a tyre mom.

Amelia: I'm coming.

Cassie: (sarcastically) Oh, good idea. Take your car. Oh wait, it has a flat.

Amelia: Well then I will walk or catch a cab.

Cassie: (over phone) Like you know how to change a tyre. I got it.

The car that drove past Cassie idles up the street outside the Blake House.

Amelia: Well then I'll stand there and watch you do it smarty pants.

Cassie: Seriously, I got it.

The driver of the car (a man) can be seen. The phone goes static.

Amelia: Cassie?

Cassie: Mom?

The driver starts to get out.

Cassie: Hello?

Amelia looks at the phone. The man walks up to the Blake House, pouring out a bottle of water. Water sprays from the faucet unexpectedly. She goes to turn it off. It gushes water onto the floor, everywhere. The man withdraws a box of matches while Amelia is struggling to stop the faucet. He strikes a single match, igniting a burner on the stove. Amelia quickly turns it off. The man strikes another match, causing the burner to ignite again. He strikes several more matches, setting the kitchen on fire. Panicking, Amelia accidentally slips on the wet floor.

Amelia: (gasping) Cassie.

Amelia starts crawling out of the kitchen, while the man withdraws many matches. As Amelia is struggling to escape the flames, screaming, the man strikes all the matches at once and drops them. The Blake House explodes as the man walks away.

Jane: Cassie! Hi. Aahh.

Jane and Cassie hug

Cassie: Hey Grandma.

Jane: I should never have let you drive by yourself.

Cassie: Well, it's not like I gave you a choice.

Jane: How are you?

Cassie: I'm good.

Jane hugs Cassie

Jane: I'm really glad you're here. Come on.

Cassie and Jane go in the house.

Cassie looks around

Cassie: So this is where my Mom grew up.

Jane: Come on, I'll show you your room.

They head upstairs to Cassie's room.

SCENE: CASSIE'S ROOM

Jane: We can move everything out. I should have by now. It's only been sixteen years.

Cassie: Wow, there's so much about her I didn't know. How come she never came home?

Jane: What did she tell you?

Cassie: Not much. Just the headlines.

Jane: You just been born when your dad had his accident. It was hard for her here. I think she wanted to start over.

Cassie: Yeah, it's pretty much what she said.

Cassie looks around her room.

Jane: I'll let you get settled. Dinner will be ready soon.

Jane walks out of the room. Cassie sits on the bed.

SCENE: EXTERIOR OF BLAKE HOUSE/CASSIE'S ROOM/NIGHT

Cassie, just clad in a bathrobe, comes out of the bathroom and goes over to the drawer to get sleeping clothes. She heads to the window to close the curtains, where she notices a boy (Nick) with his shirt partially opened, staring at her. Cassie gives him a mock smile, before closing the curtains. As she walks away, she takes off her bathrobe and puts on her sleeping clothes, when she notices in the mirror that the curtains are open. She gasps, and turns around in surprise. She goes to close the curtains, but the boy, however, is gone. Closing the curtains, she looks confused and gets ready for bed, humming.

Jane: (standing by the door) Your mom used to hum that.

Cassie: All the time. I stole it from her.

Jane: You ready for school tomorrow?

Cassie: Is anyone ever?

Jane: If you have trouble sleeping, your mom used to count the stars.

Cassie's confused, but Jane just kisses her on her forehead.

Jane: Sleep well.

Jane leaves. Thinking about what her grandma just said, Cassie gets into bed and turns off the light. She lies down and notices a representation of the night sky filled with stars on the ceiling. Cassie bends over to look at pictures of her and her mom. She gets emotional and puts the phone down before lying down to sleep.

Dawn: (voiceover) We're happy to have you Cassie.

SCENE: DAWN'S OFFICE

Dawn: I'm Principal Chamberlain. I knew your mother.

Cassie smiles awkwardly.

Dawn: I guess she didn't talk about me much.

Cassie: She never really talked about her life.

Dawn: Your mother was . . . very special to me. Listen, if there's anything that I can do to help your transition here, you let me know OK?

Cassie nods.

SCENE: CHANCE HARBOR HIGH SCHOOL HALLWAY

Adam goes over to Nick, who's busy at his locker.

Adam: Hey, have you seen her yet?

Nick: She got in yesterday.

Adam: And?

Nick: She got in yesterday.

Nick walks away. Adam stands there, before walking away as well. Cassie's in the hall, looking for her locker. She notices Adam at his locker. They stare at each other. Cassie looks away while opening her locker. She and Adam share a quick look at each other, before he walks away. As Cassie is struggling with to open her locker, two girls, Faye and Melissa, come up to her.

Faye: So you're the new girl.

Cassie: Uh yeah. That's me.

Faye: You're very pretty.

Faye quickly glances at Cassie's locker.

Faye: (walking away with Melissa) Try it again.

Cassie curiously watches Faye and Melissa walking away and proceeds to try and open the locker again. The lock mysteriously opens. Cassie looks suspiciously in Faye and Melissa's direction. Another girl, Diana, comes up to Cassie.

Diana: That's Faye, resident bad girl.

Cassie: Mm, she's convincing.

Diana: Hi, I'm Diana.

Cassie: I'm Cassie . . .

Diana: Cassie Blake. I know your grandmother. It's a really small town.

The bell rings.

Diana: I gotta run. But everyone hangs out at the Boathouse after school. It's right on the Waterfront, you can't miss it. So stop by and I'll show you around.

The two girls smile at each other.

SCENE: EXTERIOR OF THE BOATHOUSE GRILL

Cassie parks her car.

SCENE: INTERIOR OF THE BOATHOUSE GRILL

Cassie's walking and looking around the Boathouse. She is startled by a man, Ethan Conant, talking to her.

Ethan: You're Amelia's girl.

Cassie: Excuse me?

Ethan: *...*

Cassie: Cassie.

Ethan: I heard about your mother's accident. I'm sorry.

Ethan walks away.

Cassie: You knew my mom?

Cassie follows him.

Ethan: (pouring himself a drink) You bet I did. I loved your mother . . . very much.

Cassie: (startled) And how did my father feel about that?

Ethan: (laughs) He didn't like it. (Drinks) But I wasn't upset that your mother chose him. Still, it was written.

Cassie: What is written?

Ethan: Our families were written in the stars. We're destined. It's always been that way.

Adam: Dad, what you doing? No drinking before dinner. A deal's a deal. (To Cassie) Hi, I'm sorry.

Ethan: This is Cassie. Amelia's girl. (Walking away) She's beautiful, isn't she?

Cassie and Adam smile awkwardly at each other.

Adam: I'm Adam.

Cassie: Cassie. So, uh, this is your dad's place.

Adam: Yeah. You can take a seat wherever. I'll bring you a menu.

Cassie: OK. Yeah.

Cassie goes to find a seat. Adam looks at her with a faint smile. Cassie sits alone as Adam brings a menu and a glass of water.

Adam: Here you go.

Cassie: Thanks.

Adam: You know, I saw you at school today.

Cassie: Uh . . .

Adam: How was your first day?

Cassie: It's not over yet. I'll get back to you.

Adam laughs.

Adam: Alright, I'll be back in a minute.

Adam walks away as Melissa and Faye join Cassie at her table.

Faye: Adam's a hottie. You should make a play, you're totally his type.

Melissa: Stop it Faye.

Faye: What? It's true.

Melissa: (extends her hand to Cassie) I'm Melissa. Nice to meet you.

Faye: And I'm Faye Chamberlain.

Cassie: Yeah, we met. Er, sort of.

Faye: Now it's official.

Melissa: Hey, sorry to hear about your mom.

Cassie: Thanks.

Faye: And your father? Where's he?

Cassie: Well he died just after I was born.

Faye: My father's dead too. I still have my mother though.

Melissa: You probably met her. She's the principal.

Faye: Do not let her smile fool you. She can be bitchy.

Cassie's flabbergasted.

Faye: Adam's cute, don't you think?

Cassie looks at Adam cleaning the bar.

Faye: And he really does go for the sad, delicate types.

Cassie: You know, I'm not feeling all that delicate now so, I think I'm gonna go. You two have fun.

Cassie gets up to leave. She walks to her car, as Faye and Melissa watch.

Melissa: I don't think she knows. Do you?

Faye: I think she needs a nudge.

Cassie unsuccessfully tries to start her car, as Faye and Melissa watch. Suddenly, her engine starts to heat and the car locks itself in, trapping Cassie. The engine bursts into flame, as Cassie starts panicking and trying to get out.

Cassie: Help!

Faye: Come on Cassie, put it out.

Cassie: (screaming) Help! Let me . . . let me out!

Faye: Put it out.

Cassie: (choking) Help!

Faye: Put it out.

Cassie's still banging on the window and trying to get out. Adam arrives, and tries to open the car. He focuses on the flames, which mysteriously start dying. He opens the car door, freeing Cassie, who gasps for air.

Adam: (picking Cassie up) Come on. Come here. Are you alright?

Cassie and Adam just look at each other.

Act Two[]

SCENE: LAKE

Scene 11

dam: Are you all right?

Cassie: Yeah, but I just don't understand what happened.
Adam: Your car caught on fire.
Cassie: Thanks for saving me.
Diana: (running up to them) Hey, are you ok? What happened?

Adam: Hey. I think her engine blew.
Cassie: No way. That was something else. You saw it. It went up in flames. I'm gonna call my grandmother.
Diana: Uh, no, no. You shouldn't do that. Adam, why don't you take Cassie Home?

Adam: No.
Diana: Oh, no, it's ok. This is my boyfriend, by the way.
He's cool.
Adam: It's really not a problem. I'll take you. I'll call you later.

Scene 12

Cassie: Maybe it was ready to go kaput. I did just drive it a thousand miles.
Adam: Yeah. I'm sure that's it.
Cassie: But the doors wouldn't open.
Adam: Maybe you panicked, and you locked them when you meant to unlock them.
Cassie: No, the lock's pretty straightforward. It only does two things. And how did the fire go out?

Adam: By itself.
Cassie: If you say so.
Adam: So how was your first day?

Cassie: (laughs) so, how long have you and Diana been together? Adam: Three years now.

Cassie: She seems really nice.
Adam: Very nice. Hey, um I heard what my dad told you about him and your mom and the stars. Um He's got a lot of crazy ideas, and then, he gets to drinking, and--

Cassie: He's sweet. And from where I sit, it's a good thing.
Thanks for the ride.

Scene 13

Dawn: Hi, Diana.
Diana: Hi, Ms. Chamberlain. Is Faye home?

Faye: I'm right here. I’ve got it, Mom. Thanks.

Dawn leaves while Faye steps onto her front porch closing the door behind her to talk to Diana)

Diana: What did you do to Cassie's car?

Faye: Why do you assume I was the one that did it?

Diana: Did you?

Faye: He he…

Diana: It was stupid and reckless. You risked exposure.
Faye: I was testing her. We all wanted to know, Diana. I cut to the chase.
Diana: You could have hurt Cassie.
Faye: I didn't mean for the whole car to go up in flames. That was her. Her energy connected with mine. Everything you said about the circle is true. With her here, we have real power now.
Diana: This is why we need to be careful. We can't control it.
Faye: Then we should tell her.
Diana: No. She needs time. She just lost her mother. Look, we all agreed to take it slow.
Faye: No, you said to take it slow, and we all nodded. I never agreed to anything.
Diana: We are doing this my way, Faye.
Faye: Yeah. That ship has sailed.
Diana: Do not push me, Faye. I mean it.
Faye: Hmmm. Do you want to try that again? 'Cause I didn't quite buy it. Did you? Good night, Diana.

Scene 14

(Cassie runs inside of her house and the following scene takes place the next morning)

Cassie: Grandma?

(She finds a note from her grandma saying that she went into town. Cassie goes outside into town to look for her. Then she’s walking along when she bumps into Charles.)

Cassie: Ooh. Sorry. My bad.
Charles: No. That was my fault. Are you Cassie Blake?

Cassie: Yes. Charles: I was a good friend of your mother's. I'm Charles. I'm so very, very sorry to hear about her accident.
Cassie: Thank you.
Diana: Cassie! Hey, I see you met my dad.
Cassie: Hi. (To Diana)
Charles: Well, it was very nice to meet you, Cassie. You girls have fun. See you at home.
Diana: How are you doing after yesterday?

Cassie:  Not great, actually.
Diana: Anything I can do?

Cassie:  Have you seen my grandmother?

Diana: Um, no. Is something wrong?

Cassie: I have no idea.
Diana: Try me.
Cassie: Do you know how my car caught on fire?

Diana: I'm sure a mechanic could tell you.
Cassie: Forget it. It's just number one on my list of crazy.
Diana: What do you mean?

Cassie:  This town is a friggin' side show. I mean, look. Never mind. It's not your problem. I just, I need to find my grandmother.
Diana: Cassie, wait. I think maybe I can help. Beat--

Scene 15

Jane: Hello, Dawn.
Dawn: Hi, Jane. How are you? How's Cassie, by the way? She's a lovely girl.
Jane: Actually, I wanted to talk to you about her. I don't know if you heard. Cassie's car caught fire last night.
Dawn: Actually, I oh, my God. Is she ok?

ane: She's fine. It's what caused the fire that concerns me. I seem to recall a similar thing happening years ago-- kids fooling around. We both know how that ended. Are the children practicing?

Dawn: Oh, they can't be. I mean, they don't know anything. They're teenagers.
Jane: You better than anyone should know how resourceful they can be. I would never have allowed Cassie here if-

Dawn: Look, I'm around these kids every day. If they were practicing, I would know.
Jane: We can't let it happen again.
Dawn: Look, if I see or hear anything, I will let you know. I Promise.

Scene 16

(Diana is leading Cassie through the woods to an old, abandoned house)

Cassie: Where are we going?

Diana: You'll see. It’s ok, Cassie. (Leading her past the woods and to the house)
Cassie: What is this place?

Diana: Come on.

Scene 17

Faye: Finally.
Nick: Hey neighbor. I'm Nick, also known as the guy in the window.
Adam: Hi.
Cassie: Ok. What are all of you doing here? What's going on?

Adam: We want to explain.
Diana: I didn't want to tell you like this, but I didn't have a choice-

Faye: She has a right to know.
Cassie: Know what?

Diana: Who you are.
Cassie: Ok. This is getting really weird. I-

Adam: Hey, you don't have to be scared.
Cassie:  Somebody tell me what's going on.
Diana: Look, Cassie, I know this is going to sound crazy, ok, but that fire yesterday… I don't know how to say this. Um We're different. You're different.
Faye: Oh, for God's sake, spit it out. You're a witch. You're a full-blooded 100> witch, we all are. There. Done.

Cassie: This is beyond crazy.
Faye: The truth works that way.
Adam: Cassie, I know how this sounds. The truth is, our ancestry is part of a legacy that dates as far back as 1692.
Cassie: You guys are saying I'm a witch.
Melissa: Like your mother and her mother.
Diana: It's all in here, Cassie. Each family has a book like this one, a journal that lays down each family line.
I found mine-

Faye: Which explains her air of superiority.
Melissa: The book contains thousands of spells. We've been practicing, but without a full circle, we can only do really lame ones.
Faye: Like open locked doors.
Nick: Or curtains.
Cassie: Or set cars on fire!
Faye: I'm sorry about that. I got a little out of hand.
Adam: A complete circle is 6. One from each of the 6 families.
Diana: You're the sixth. You complete the circle.

Melissa: Now we're whole.
Faye: We have more power now.
Diana: But there's a ritual that will bind us so we can control our power.
Cassie: You are seriously messed up. (Turns to go, but Faye blocks her path and holds onto her arm)

Cassie: Get out of my way.
Faye: Don't pretend you don't believe us. Deep down, you know it's true.
Cassie: What's true is how crazy you are.
Adam: Hey, take it easy.
Faye: She can't just waltz out of here. She'll run to her grandmother.
Diana: No one can know about us, not even our families. We have to stay secret.
Cassie: Fine. (Runs as soon as Faye lets go)
Adam: Great.
Melissa: I knew it.
Faye: Nicely done, Diana.

Scene 198

Adam: (Following Cassie back into the woods) Cassie! Cassie, wait. It's not as crazy as it seems.
Cassie: Yes, it is. This is insane. All of you are insane.
Adam: Our parents had a circle just like ours.
Cassie: Oh, my god. Can you hear yourself? My mother was not a witch. I would have known.
Adam: No, 'cause it was all covered up, 'cause something went wrong. People were hurt. They were killed. So they abolished witchcraft.
Cassie: I don't believe you.
Adam: You're not the only one who's lost a parent, Cassie. We all have.
Cassie: There's no such thing as witches and magic. I don't believe it. I can't.
Adam: Let me show you. (Takes Cassie’s hand and puts a leaf in it) Here, it's ok. Trust me. Close your eyes.

(Cassie lets Adam take her hand and closes her eyes, but give a quick eye roll first)

Adam: Ok. Now, concentrate on how your hand is connecting with the leaf, then how the leaf is connecting with the water, and say, “A drop of water, as light as air,” and keep repeating it.
Adam & Cassie: A drop of water, as light as air. A drop of water, as light as air. A drop of water, as light as air.
Cassie: I don't feel anything.
Adam: Feel that? That tingling when my hand is touching yours? That's your energy connecting with mine. Now, try again.
Adam & Cassie: A drop of water as light as air. A drop of water, as light as air. A drop of water, as light as air

(They open their eyes and water droplets are floating everywhere in mid-air)

Cassie:  Are you doing this?

Adam: We are. This has never happened before.

(Adam leans over to Cassie as if about to kiss her, but Cassie backs away and then runs)

Scene 19

Diana: You did magic with her?

Adam: I thought if she knew what she was capable of, she wouldn't be as afraid of it.
Melissa: You made water float?

Faye: How romantic.
Nick: And then, you let her just run away.
Adam: I lost control.
Faye: Sounds like it.
Adam: No, I lost control of the magic. With Cassie here, our power is magnified a hundred times over.
Diana: Which is why we need to perform the ritual.
Melissa: Yeah, and the sooner, the better, before she blabs to her grandmother and anyone else that would listen.
Adam: She's not going to tell anybody.
Faye: Oh, and he would know. They made magic together.
Nick: All right, I'll swing by her grandmother's.
Faye: You guys have fun. I certainly will.
Diana: Where are you going? We have to find Cassie.
Faye: I'm not interested in your little ritual. We have real power now. The last thing I want to do is control it. And I'm not going to.
Diana: This is exactly what I was afraid of. You know what she's like.
Adam: Let's just find Cassie.

Scene: 20

(In the boathouse)

Cassie: Excuse me. I need to talk to you.
Ethan: Hello, Amelia's girl.
Cassie: Why did my mom leave here? You said you loved her.
Ethan: What happened? Your father happened.
Cassie: Tell me about him.
Ethan: Do you know that our families are aligned in the stars? Amelia and I were meant for each other.
Cassie: Yeah, you keep saying that, but I don’t understand. What does that mean?

Ethan: It's the same for you and Adam. You don't want to mess with fate. Bad things happen when you mess with fate.
Cassie: What bad things? Tell me.
Ethan: Why do you want to hurt more than you already do?

Cassie: Please.
Ethan: Your father was a bad man.
Charles: (Entering) Hello, Ethan. Is he bothering you?

Ethan: We're just talking, Charlie.
Charles: It looks like you've had a little too much to drink.
Ethan: Oh, I'm fine.
Charles: Why don't we call it a night?

Cassie: Ok, look. We were just talking.
Adam: (Entering) what’s going on?

Charles: Your dad's in a bad way again.
Adam: Dad. Hey. We're gonna go home now, ok?

(Cassie takes off again)

Adam: Cassie, wait!

Scene 21

Faye: (On the edge of the dock in the evening) Skies above give me a sign.

Scene 22

Diana and Cassie are standing on a bridge in the light of all the shops on the shore. Other people are there too, so they aren’t noticed much. Faye is on the dock below but doesn’t see them.)

Diana: Cassie! There you are.
Cassie: No. I can't deal with any more of this now.
Diana: I know you're scared. I know it's a lot to accept. Please.
Cassie: What happened to our parents, and why won't anyone tell me anything?

Diana: There was an accident- 16 years ago. The people who died were all members of the last circle, our parents.
Cassie: My father, too?

Diana: (nods) only I don't think it was an accident. I think something went wrong, and the ones who survived are trying to keep it from us. Look, I believe we can do great things with our power. It doesn't have to be bad, but we have to control it.
Cassie: My mom ran from this life. She didn't want this for me.
If she did, she would have told me. Why didn't she tell me?

Diana: I don't know, Cassie.

Scene 23

Faye: Please, sky, rain down on me. (It starts raining) More! Diana: (seeing Faye) what is she doing? (Runs down to the dock) Faye! What are you doing?

Faye: It's beautiful!

Diana: You can't make it rain just 'cause you want to!

Faye: Yes, we can! We can do anything we want!

: No, Faye! Make it stop! (Slips on the wet dock)

Faye: Diana! Are you ok?!

Diana: You have to stop it!

Faye: Ok, I will! Stop this storm. Stop this storm!

Diana: Do it!

Faye: I can't! I- Stop it! Stop this storm!

Cassie: (Appears out of the boathouse) Make it stop. Make it stop. Make it stop. (Storm stops)
Faye: You did it. You're one of us.
Diana: You stopped it, Cassie.
Cassie: I don't want any part of this. (Walks away) Beat--

Scene 24

Jane: What happened to you?

Cassie: (walking into her house) I- I just got caught in the rain.
Jane: Is everything all right?

Cassie: Yeah. I just- I want to get out of these clothes.

Scene 25

Ethan: We're closed.
Charles: (entering the boathouse) we have a problem, Ethan.
Ethan: What?

Charles: You drink too much, which makes you talk too much, and I can't have that.
Ethan: What the hell are you doing here?

Charles: What would happen if you slipped and fell off that dock outside? You'd drown. No one would find your body for days. And do you know what drowning is like? That feeling of not being able to breathe? Gasping for air? Panicking as your lungs fill up with water? It's a horrible death.

(As he starts describing what drowning would feel like, Charles takes out a crystal from his pocket and Ethan begins to spit out and choke on water as if he is actually drowning)

Charles: This is my one and final warning.

Scene 26

Jane: Cassie? You have a visitor. A very late visitor. I'll be in the kitchen. Right through there.
Adam: Diana told me what happened.
Cassie: Are they ok?

Adam: Um, Faye's a little shaken, and Diana's worried. Faye has always been a bit unpredictable. You never know what she's going to do next.
Cassie: Is that why you came here, to convince me to join your secret cult?

Adam: No. I just wanted to apologize. I'm sorry about earlier.
Cassie: Which part?

Adam: In the woods. It should never have happened. I don't know how it happened. I love Diana, you know.
Cassie: Yeah, I get it.
Adam: Can't happen again.
Cassie: No, it can't.
Adam: Well, I should go.
Cassie: Yeah.
Adam: You are one of us, Cassie. I can't tell you what to do, but just know, you're not alone.

Scene 27

(Dawn is walking up her porch steps when her front door flings open. She turns around to see Charles who flung open her door.)

Dawn: You and your tricks.
Charles: They come in handy.
Dawn: Ethan?

Charles: We spoke.
Dawn: Good. We did the right thing bringing her here. She's got the gift.
Charles: She is her father's daughter.
Dawn: Unfortunately, she's her mother's daughter, too.
Charles: Are you sure you can get Cassie to do what we need?

Dawn: I don't have to get her to do a thing. The circle will take care of that without even knowing it.

Scene 28

(Cassie walks upstairs when she sees part of her dresser push out. She walks over to it and pulls out her family book. Inside is a letter read in Amelia, her mom’s, voice.)

Amelia: You finding this means I'm gone, and for that, I am so sorry. I didn't want you to have this life, but destiny's not easy to run from. I hoped that keeping this secret would keep you safe, but all I've done is left you unprotected. You have incredible power inside you. People will come for it.
They will come for you. Beat--
